Agra is a city on the banks of the Yamuna river in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, about 230 kilometers south of the national capital New Delhi and 335km west of the state capital Lucknow. Agra became a centre for learning, arts, commerce, and religion, and saw the construction of the Agra Fort and Agra's most prized monument, the Taj Mahal, built by Shah Jahan as a mausoleum for his favourite empress and the "Baby Taj", the tomb of I'timād-ud-Daulah is often regarded as a draft of the Taj Mahal.

Agra fort: Agra Fort in Agra is the fine example of Mughal Architecture. Located on the banks of river Yamuna, Agra Fort stretches about 2.5 km. This is complex of much structure inside the red walls which are 20 meters in height.
Itmad-ul-Daulah's Tomb: Tomb of I'timād-ud-Daulah is a Mughal mausoleum in the city of Agra in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. Often described as a "jewel box", sometimes called the "Baby Tāj", the tomb of Itimād-ud-Daulah is often regarded as a draft of the Tāj Mahal.
Taj Mahal (sunset view): The Taj Mahal is an ivory-white marble mausoleum on the south bank of the Yamuna river in the Indian city of Agra. It was commissioned in 1632 by the Mughal emperor, Shah Jahan, to house the tomb of his favourite wife, Mumtaz Mahal
